I wanted to say Ian made a very good showing at the "All-Stars of Comics Podcasting" panel at Comic-Con. He expressed a young and a fresh perspective that made the panel even more interesting. Thanks for making to trip out.

Guys, you hit it out of the park with this episode! Thank you so much for such an informative look at comics. This episode is the resource for people new to comics and don't want to be left behind or lost because they have no idea what all of the terminology is about. I made my first visit to my local comic book store with confidence and held a conversation with the man behind the counter without feeling ignorant. He was surprised to find it was my first visit. I told him of this episode on Comic Timing and that he should pass the word to anybody just getting started! Thank you Ian and please pass on my thanks to the rest of the guys in the episode!

Hey guys, I wanted to let you know I just started to get into listening to podcasts and blogging after receiving an mp3 player for my birthday which, led me back to comics. I haven't read very many comics because, I've never been in a place where I was exposed to them so I'm a late bloomer but, come to find out that I've missed out on a lot! I've been listening to a lot of podcasts on comics trying to find a great one to get. You guys are by far the best!! I just listened to episode 87. I've learned a lot and you guys made me laugh my butt off!! Being new to comics I was wondering if you could do a show on comic book terminology or sometimes explain terms as you go. I'm sure there are a lot of people that might come across your show who are rookies like me. For example: it took me a while in the show to get what you guys were talking about with Diamonds and Previews. Also, could you settle for me the definition of graphic novels. I've seen so many defs that I don't get it. I also love that you guys don't freak out about how long the show is!! The longer the better, I say. Thanks guys!!
