1 – I thought the crossing guard was supposed to be posted longer. Will check at the con wrap-up meeting. You’re right about it being a hazard otherwise.
2 – There are sidewalks all over NJ. Somerset is in that odd urban/not-urban zone where some businesses add sidewalks and others don’t. I’ll take a picture of the ones around here (Bayonne – urban) 🙂
3 – Yes, we realize that we’re filling the area. We’re going to be inventive next year. Looking for a new spot, it ain’t easy but I think 2015 will be elsewhere.

Thanks for the response, Vince! Yeah, I’m reading Saga in trades while also catching up on way too many other books. But at least I read it through before the American Comics for Manga Fans panel. 😀
And I’m looking forward to seeing how the convention improves and evolves in the coming years. As a now 7-year veteran of the con, I’ve seen AnimeNEXT change a lot. Growing pains are bound to occur! Now it’s time to grow in space available as much as it’s grown in attendees.
