Fans of Young Justice and Teen Titans have been waiting for this issue ever since we learned of Superboy’s return. Now, we get it! Tim and Conner are back together again; only thing is that a lot has changed since their Teen Titans days. Do the two still gel, even with Tim being Tim Wayne, Red Robin, instead of Tim Drake, Robin? And what about Conner’s metamorphosis since his return? Either way, it’s the dynamic duo back together, and this makes Brent and Ian happy campers!

Daredevil #501 (HC Price: $0.75)

It’s the hottest new title to hit the ground running in quite some time, and it tastes like a winner! Yes, pun intended. Ian is all caught up on Chew, but this will be Brent’s first issue on the series. It’s the final part of an arc, but is it enough to bring the “I read Marvel and DC and the one Indy Ian makes me read Kid” in for the long haul? I do believe you’ll have to listen in to find out! Nom nom nom.

Comic Timing – Episode 58: Megacon Part 2

Part 2 is out! The last two days of the Megacon is covered here, featuring the talents of Raph, Brent, Brandon and myself, as we cover the last two days of the convention. What we picked up, who and what we saw, yaoi vs. yuri, and so on. Also, we have interviews with Travis Earls and Sean Cummings of Codename: Power, Lee Bretschneider of Wheelchair Romeo, Mark Waid, current editor in chief of Boom! Studios, Jon and Jin of Two Monocles, artist Christine Bottoms, Marvel cover artist Greg Horn, writer/inker Jimmy Palmiotti, and Bryan Deemer, Brian “Pants” Christman and Adam Murdough of Comic Geek Speak, with a glomping by Peter Rios.

Comic Timing – Episode 50: Part 1

Part 1 of Episode 50 is here, and we are feeling Retro! Here are the first two segments, the first with the original Comic Timing crew, plus Brent Kossina: Tobey Cook and David Price! Then we have a discussion with Sean and Jim of Raging Bullets, as well as Freddie E Williams, the brand new artist on Flash. Finally, after the credits roll, I included a lost segment with Brent, Raph and I just shooting the breeze back in the summer. The segment is not very comic book related, but it’s good fun. And of course, on the main body of the show, we are talking Comic Book Universes! Enjoy.
