In a series of two episodes, Raging Bullets and Comic Timing are teaming together to take on the one-shot Superman and Spider-Man issues! We’re back with a full Blue Team episode to start our Anniversary month off strong! We then discuss Sam Kieth’s passing a bit and the gothic inspiration of Gotham, pivot to Marvel’s recent layoffs and what that may mean for the company, and for AI moving forward, the lack of black led ongoing series from DC (yes, there’s a tracker recording how long it’s been since that happened), bringing back up that old Dwayne McDuffie skateboard memo, recent reads including The Florida Hippopotamus Cocaine Massacre (yes, for real), Kevin Smith’s Bizarro: Year None, a Comiket documentary, Kris’ continued thoughts on Medalist, and so much more!

Comic Timing Episode 274 – Trekkin’ Around with Tim Sheridan

Space. The final frontier. These are the voyages of…Comic Timing. And boy oh boy, what a voyage this one is. Ian goes Star Trekkin’ with his two favorite allies, Kris and Raph, as they’re joined by current writer of the Star Trek: Lower Decks comic for IDW and lifelong Trekkie, Tim Sheridan! The crew go into their shared Trek histories, talk about where the franchise has gone over the years and how Trek continues to reinvent itself, what makes Star Trek unique in its personality and quality, how Deep Space Nine is all about family, some amazing stories from Tim in and around the industry over the years, and so much more. The group then discuss the first three episodes of the latest series to launch, Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, along with the most recent season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, lots of Lower Decks (both the comics and the animated series), and so much more!

Comic Timing Episode 269 – Warner Bros. Goes Tudum

We’ve got the full Blue Team gathered together for this end of year bash, and boy is there tons to talk about. Ian, Brent, Donovan, Kris, Jamal, Raph and Brandon start things off with the ten thousand pound elephant in the room, aka Warner Bros. being sold to Netflix, unless Paramount uses hostility (and a steel chair) to buy them first. This includes how this might affect DC Comics publishing arm, as well as their movies, and other potential ramifications and changes. They then touch on some DC and Marvel crossovers, specifically the Batman/Deadpool and Deadpool/Batman one-shots, and the now upcoming Superman/Spider-Man crossover coming in March 2026! Other topics include how headlines can blow passing statements out of proportion (the Sara Pichelli Miles Morales hubbub in particular), the original untouched Star Wars movies finally getting a rerelease, some further Kamen Rider talk, recent reads including the first three issues of Matt Fraction’s Batman, DC KO and DC KO: Knightfall, Spider-Man ’94, Dono’s year-long adventure reading the Argentinian comic book Cybersix, Moriarty: The Patriot from Shonen Jump, and yes, Dynamite’s ongoing Lion King comic.

Not even being away from home, using a different setup and mic, can stop Previews from happening! This month, Brent partakes in the comics cavalcade along with Ian and Raph, and tests whether or not he has the stamina for such an undertaking. Spoilers: he comes close, but taps out after about two and a half hours, leaving Raph and Ian to finish the race.
